coast ride would not have been possible without the Cycle America staff
volunteers who provided a wide range of support including food preparation,
mapping routes, luggage transportation, and bike repairs.

began at Devils
Tower, which in 1906,
became the country's first National Monument.

from Canada, like Lloyd,
also found the trip across America
to be a worth while endeavor.

across South Dakota
was full of sight seeing opportunities like this side trip to Crazy Horse
Memorial.

Carving
of the Crazy Horse Memorial began in 1949 to honor the great heros of the
Indian tribes, but as seen by the sculptor's scaled version, it is still a work
in progress.

The hills
along Needles Highway
are nothing that these two Dutch men, Paul and Roy, can't handle.

Riding
though the first of many tunnels carved out of the rock formations along Needles Highway.

Stopping
to enjoy the distant view of Mount Rushmore
from the Peter Norbeck Overlook.

infamous "white board" was one of the first things a biker looked
for upon arrival at the destination of each day's ride because it posted
vital information, such as dinner time and place.
